Water is a body to

a body is a body

to other bodies,

bare, except for

the intimates,

to never touch

each other

skin to skin

but feel

every movement

of another—

ebb and flow,

push and pull,

like the tide

of tension

from swimming

and coming

up

for air

to the sight

of hair

of bodies

glistening,

of eyes

in brief meeting

under moonlight,

altogether

in blue embrace.
